Domenick Calicchio may best be remembered as a master craftsman and instrument maker, but did you know that he also made fine custom mouthpieces? Domenick used traditional tooling and methods, and did not keep many notes or diagrams of these unique pieces, but he crafted fabulous custom mouthpieces - by hand- for his friends and for the best players of the day. The new Calicchio mouthpieces are made from new tooling developed from Domenick’s original drawings, in a modern manufacturing environment.

During our testing stage, this mouthpiece proved to be the most popular lead setup

• Domenick’s favorite flat rim - in his words, “semi flat, semi round”

• Cup I.D. - 0.640”, like your favorite 5C, but a little more shallow in the cup
